Winter in Vail Valley

The day could not have been better sunny skies, perfect snow, and virtually no lift lines. For après-ski drink and some rejuvenation of the day, the place to be, right at the bottom of the gondola, is Garfinkel. Garfinkel offers daily entertainment for guests after skiing, and that day was a DJ sound system Karioka. The Blue Moon Belgian Ale Bar offers the perfect cover to end a fantastic day at Vail.

We spent almost a week in the Vail Valley and found the variety of activities is almost endless. Although skiing and snowboarding is obvious that the first must-do list, there many more. Snowmobiling, snowshoe trekking and dog sledding are just a few. Only a short drive west of Vail is the town of Glenwood Springs. Here the large natural pool with hot mineral water heating history is deemed good for curing all kinds of ailments. My particular completely bruising recovered in these waters. It was found that the people we met on our trip to Colorado, were, without exception, have, friendly and very helpful. Lift operators, waitresses, rescuers, guides, snowmobiles, and all those I met were wonderful. We will be back in the Vail Valley. I can not wait.
